Sweet Shop, "Un-Knotted" presents it's grand opening with a new concept
CINCINNATI--- The Cincinnati/Clifton area has added a unique cookie shop to its area.
Un-Knotted, a new “cookie spa” has opened a shop on 164 W. McMillan Ave. right underneath The Verge apartments. The opening of Un-Knotted sets a trend between a university library and your typical coffee shop. Librarian, Alice McCutchen, owner and operator of Un-Knotted noticed a demand for a more comforting place for students to complete their busy-work while at the library.
She wanted to convert people from trying to study in noisy coffee shops and strict libraries to her new concept of “Un-Knotting.” Her cookie spa offers a wide variety of cookie cakes, which you can buy by the slice or as whole. While students and consumers indulge in her cookie slices, she provides study tables and an abundant amount of comfortable seating, including massage chairs, all throughout the shop.
“Converging the trends of a flustered coffee shop and a library filled with stress, I came up with the idea of ‘Un-Knotted’ and the desire to make it come to life. I have built many relationships with students while I worked in the library, many of which I see on a day-to- day basis. My sweet shop is going to offer something no other place in Cincinnati has. Un-Knotted is going to provide students with a place to study while also enjoying a sweet snack to unwind from all the stress.” McCutchen says.
Un-Knotted is set to open its doors on February 16, 2017. The shop is open Sunday through Monday 8am-1am. Un-Knotted also offers reservations for study rooms and group discounts on cookie cakes. You can follow Un-Knotted on Instagram, SnapChat and Facebook for more coupons and deals throughout the year.
We will highlight a customer of the month, and promote their story through our Facebook page. Our customers and their story is an important part of our company. Facebook will also allow us to host check-ins, which can result in discounts/bookings for study rooms.
We will incorporate a Snapchat filter for the grand opening. It will last for one week and be active around the locations of Starbucks and Langsam Library. Using the filter will allow customers to claim a buy one get one free discount on cookie cake slices. There will also be interactive contests and monthly deals to keep customers active.
