In the year 2016, Alice McCutchen was just a librarian behind a desk. Alice was well known on campus at the University of Cincinnati, where she worked at Langsam Library. Whenever she saw a group of students enter the library, she noticed that they were sneaking in snacks. Alice found that students typically spent an extended amount of time in the library and might crave something sweet during that time.  

 

Alice liked coffee shops but the atmosphere had always been too loud. She noticed that people who went to coffee shops seemed to be tied up in their lives, which resulted in the concept of Un-Knotted. Her sweet shop resembles the release of living a busy life.

 

Alice's passion for catering to students is instilled in the core values of her company: comfort, generosity, customer-oriented, and a hospitality based environment. Un-Knotted was formed to make a place for those who want to study and enjoy treats while doing so.
