Product: Un-Knotted has some of the most delicate and dense cookie cakes in the Cincinnati area.  Our cookie cakes are produced from fresh dough, in the back of our very own shop. We bake our cookie cakes different than any other shop in the surrounding area. With all of our ingredients coming from scratch, we cook it by pressing fresh dough into an iron skillet, thus providing customers with a cookie cake they’ve never had before. Customers have the option to add additional ingredients – from Oreo slices to M&M’s, we offer just about any topping you desire.

 

 

Price: At Un-Knotted we take pride in our prices, while still delivering the highest quality ingredients. Other competitors in the Cincinnati/Clifton area offer competitive prices, but they do not offer everything that we have. When you buy a cookie cake, whether it’s by the slice or as a whole, you are also buying the experience of our sweet shop. Our luxury chairs and spa-like atmosphere gives you more for your money.

 

Our cookie cakes are priced at $2.50 a slice and depending on what ingredients you want to add the price will vary. We weigh your slice at the end of its cook time, and its price is measured by the ounce. After conducting research on cookie-oriented places in Clifton, the average price of a mini cookie cake is $10, which feeds about 1-3 people. For a 10” cookie cake, prices reach a high of $20. In comparison, Un-Knotted will provide to those who want high-quality cookies for a lesser price of $5 for a mini cake and $14 for a larger cake.

 

 

Place: Our shop is centered in the Cincinnati/Clifton area right in the heart of the University of Cincinnati campus. By locating our shop in this area, we expect to get students and a wide variety of young adults looking for relaxation. Our shop is not a place where you come in and leave without feeling like you didn’t get a complete pampered experience. When you go in and order your cookie cake, just how you would like it, you then take a number and find the desired table you would like to sit. After your cookie cake is done baking, we then deliver it to your table with the satisfaction that it’s exactly how you’d like it. While you enjoy your cookie slice exactly how you ordered it, you enjoy it sitting in the most comfortable seating Clifton has to offer. Throughout our cookie shop, there are different themed rooms, whichever suits your study needs the best, you decide. Being able to work on whatever school work you may have, the calming atmosphere will put you at ease.

Promotion: Un-Knotted has a unique sweet shop-study lounge experience that allows us to connect to the community. Our goal is to offer reasons for people to stay connected with us. We will use social media as a tool to can enhance our business and how we connect with students and young professionals.  We can highlight the spa-like culture through different social media platforms.  It’s important that we portray our comforting environment to both current and potential customers.  We can promote our study rooms as well as our comfortable furniture and free-Wi-Fi, as a place to hang out with friends or be productive. Through Facebook, Twitter, and SnapChat we will reach out to customers to gain exposure in the area by providing active discounts and promotions on our cookie cakes. We will also set up a booth in Tangeman University Center the week of opening.
